I quit my job with a large cake on March 13, 2009 amidst the American financial crisis. "Man Resigns With Cake" was reported internationally. Briefly, I became internet famous. I became involved in a floating art project traveling from Slovenia to the Venice Biennale. I rented an apartment in Berlin from a woman who stole my deposit. I drove across the European continent in a blue van that a friend and I slept in. We were returning it to the Slovenian fisherman it had been purchased from. I made a self-portrait every day.
